WHO SHOULD ATTEND
It is recommended that a minimum of two participants from each organisation attend the program. Specifically:
- High-potential, early career employees
- From second-year graduate level to five years of work experience
- Technical professionals, Operators, Trades people, and Support staff
The program fee is AU$5,495 per participant excluding GST, travel, accommodation and incidentals
Ramp-Up is designed to accelerate the development of the early-career workforce to operate at higher levels of performance and drive front-line productivity in the resources sector.
Attracting and retaining talent combined with overcoming skills gaps and shortages of experienced staff requires a new approach to developing the effectiveness of particularly the early-career workforce.
This four-module program focuses on the key knowledge, skills and behaviours required of a high performing, early-career resources employee.
The Program is designed around four themes of managing self and managing teams; project and change management; communication and influence; and operational discipline. Through these themes, participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to effectively implement change whilst operating in or leading a high-performing team.
Underpinning the program is the delivery of a stretch productivity improvement project that participants will identify for their organisation. Participants will receive coaching from program facilitators to accelerate the implementation
This 6-month program is designed to:
Develop a shared understanding of the responsibility and accountability of a future-ready, early-career employee to identify, implement, and sustain productivity improvements in the resources sector
Build individual’s self-awareness and resilience to operate at peak performance amidst constant global and sectoral change
Master the foundations of high-performance teams, leadership styles, and the tools for effective feedback and conflict management
Equip and actively support early-career employees with the knowledge, behaviours, and skills required to effectively lead and execute value-adding productivity improvement projects
Create confidence and capability to effectively influence, communicate and manage internal and external stakeholders
Connect participants with peers across the minerals and energy sectors to collaboratively share experiences and leading practices.
